General

  1. Information on how to enter the NRMA Everyday Sporting Legends program promotion and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
  2. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions of entry.
  3. The promoter is National Roads and Motorists Association Limited, trading as NRMA Motoring & Services (Promoter) ABN 77 000 010 506 of Level 2, 9 George St, North Strathfield NSW 2137.
  4. The Promotion commences at 12:00am (AEST) on Monday 12 October and entries close at 12:00pm pm (AEST) on Friday 20 November (Promotional Period).

How to Enter

  1. To enter this Promotion, entrants must create their own page at www.mynrma.com.au/legends utilising copy, images and /or video during the Promotional Period and include their name, address, email, telephone number and any other information so requested. Only one (1) entry per entrant is permitted, but more than one entry is allowed per school or sporting team.
  2. When "voting" online for an entrant as part of the NRMA Everyday Sporting Legends program, only one vote per person is permitted.
  3. Video footage submitted must be no longer than 2 minutes in length. Up to 3 images only can be submitted and each image must be no larger than 1MB in size.
  4. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part.

Eligibility

  1. Employees of the Promoter (Employees) and their Related Bodies Corporate (as this term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) are not eligible to enter. Children and family members of employees are allowed to enter.
  2. Entry is open to NSW and ACT residents only and each entry must be accompanied by an NRMA Motoring & Services or Free2Go Membership number, this can be the entrants own or a family member or friends number
  3. Teams entered must be part of a registered state sporting body or association within NSW or the ACT eg. The Eastern Suburbs Touch Association or Netball ACT.
  4. The following is prohibited, will be deemed invalid and relevant entries will be disqualified:
    • incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries;
    • defamatory, offensive or obscene entries;
    • entries not in English;
    • entries that have been tampered with; and/or
    • use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter the Promotion repeatedly;
    • defamatory comments, images or video pertaining to fellow entrants, the NRMA or Rebel Sport;
    • where a correct consent has not been received.
  5. Entrants warrant that their entry in the Promotion does not breach the intellectual property rights of any third party. The entrant indemnifies and will keep NRMA and its Related Bodies Corporate indemnified against any loss, costs, expenses or liability NRMA or its Related Bodies Corporate may suffer arising out of a breach by the entrant of this clause.
  6. Individual applicants and nominated teams or schools must reside in NSW or the ACT to be eligible to apply.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to:
    • verify the validity of entries and entrants including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence; and/or
    • disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is, in its reasonable opinion, not in accordance with these conditions of entry.

Draws and Prizes

  1. The Promoter will review and judge all entries and decide, in its sole discretion, the winning entries.
  2. The winner will receive one of 3 gift cards depending on the category indicated on the entry form. Entrants are only eligible to enter to win one gift card per entry.
  3. The total prize pool value is $150,000 worth of Rebel Sport gift cards. There will be x5 $10,000 gift cards and x15 $5000 gift cards available for schools and sporting teams and x50 $500 gift cards for individual entrants.
  4. Winners will be able to buy generic clothing available at Rebel Sport stores but will not be able to buy customized, team jerseys or clothing.
  5. The prize value is correct at time of printing and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any subsequent variation in the prize value.
  6. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with a prize of equal value or specification. No responsibility or liability is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
  7. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants.
  8. Gift cards will be valid for 12 months from date of issue.
  9. Winners will be notified by telephone and in writing by 31 December 2009. Only winners will receive notification.
  10. If for any reason a winner does not take an element of a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that prize, or element thereof, will be forfeited.
  11. Winners who cannot be reached at the email address, street address or phone numbers provided on their entry, will be disqualified.

Personal Information and Privacy

  1. Entry into the Promotion constitutes the entrant's consent to permit the Promoter, and any of its partners, contractors, agents or Related Bodies Corporate, to use the entrant's Personal Information including name, age, membership number and image, mobile phone number, email address and any other information, photos or video footage provided as part of the entry, to the Promoter by the entrant pursuant to this competition, in whole or part, in any media and in any manner whatsoever, without remuneration, limitation or restriction, including for promotional and advertising purposes to promote the Promoter, its business and related companies.
  2. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, send electronic messages or telephone the entrant.
  3. If elected to do so in the entry process, entrants will receive communications keeping them up to date with news, promotions and other relevant information from NRMA Motoring and Services.
  4. The Promoter must:
    • and must procure that its employees, agents and contractors, act in accordance with the Privacy Law in dealing with any Personal Information of an entrant; and
    • do anything reasonably required to comply with the Privacy Law.

Disclaimer

  1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, and any of its partners, contractors, agents or related body corporates (including any directors, officers, and employees thereof), will not be liable for any loss, personal injury or damage whatsoever (including direct or consequential loss), whether as a result of participation in this Promotion, the Promoter's negligence or otherwise.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to announce or publish the winner's name and/or photograph for publicity purposes without any further reference, payment, compensation or remuneration to the winner(s). It is a Condition of Entry into this promotion that the winner will consent to the Promoter doing so.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entrant or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, for any reason whatsoever, without liability.

1.1 NRMA (National Roads and Motorists' Association Limited) reserves the right to do any of the following at its sole discretion:

  • (a) select material to be posted on the site;
  • (b) remove any material on the site at any time;
  • (c) amend, alter, reproduce (in part or in its entirety) in any form of media, edit or delete any material you submit without any right of attribution to you and to pass it on to any other entity at our sole discretion ; and
  • (d) terminate your access to the sites if we believe you have breached the terms and conditions in any way.

2. Your Obligations

2.1 You will not:

  • (a) post any material on the site:
    • (i) that is not original material in which you own copyright;
    • (ii) which infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party;
    • (iii) that contains personal information of third parties such as phone numbers, mail or email addresses;
    • (iv) that is unlawful, or makes reference to illegal activities, or which is prohibited by these terms and conditions;
    • (v) that is offensive, abusive, obscene, defamatory, threatening, indecent or which is sexual or pornographic in nature;
    • (vi) that vilifies, insults or humiliates any person on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation or any physical or mental disability;
    • (vii) that contains profanity or spiteful remarks;
    • (viii) that advertises or promotes any goods or services, websites, competitions, schemes or any other matter;
    • (ix) that contains false, misleading or deceptive information or misinformation or rumor;
    • (x) that you do not have a right to post because of any law or arising out of a contractual obligation;
    • (xi) impersonate any other person or entity;
    • (xii) that contains viruses, or other malicious code, files or programs designed to interrupt, limit or destroy the functionality of other computer software or hardware.
  • (b) engage in spamming, flaming or any other hostile activity in relation to the site.

3. Liability for Material

3.1 Any opinions expressed in material posted by the entrants contained on the site are not and are not in any way represented as being the opinions of NRMA or its related bodies corporate.

3.2 NRMA:

  • (a) is not responsible for, and does not accept any liability in respect of, any material posted on the site by any entrant; and
  • (b) does not check the content or accuracy of any such material.

You should not rely on any material contained on the site and we accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss or damage you may suffer as a result or your reliance on any material posted on the site.
